This is a short initial survey about people’s use of Lower Field and the wider Elmhirst site.

Locally, the area is known as Lower Field. In official documents, the wider area is often called the Elmhirst site. It lies between Ashburton Road and the River Dart, separately from the rest of the school. It includes grassed fields, sports pitches, an all-weather pitch, sports facilities, buildings, hardstanding, parking and other open areas.

At this stage, we want to build a broad picture of who has used the site, how they have used it and over what period. As our work develops, we may contact people with more specific questions about particular areas, activities, paths or periods in the site’s history.

You can complete the general survey anonymously. If you agree to be contacted later, providing your details does not commit you to taking part in anything further.
